Stuff I should have blogged - Tuesday afternoon

To paraphrase Keith Olbermann, if bittergate is Obama's worst gaffe of the campaign, the polls are starting to suggest he might want to gaffe more often. Seems like the pundits might have this one about as right as...Wright.

  • LA Times/Bloomberg Poll: Clinton up 5 in PA; Obama up 13 in NC; Obama up 5 in IN (Joe Sudbay / AMERICAblog)
  • Gallup: Obama Has His Biggest Lead Yet, No "Small Town" Damage (Eric Kleefeld / TPM)
  • No poll damage so far (Ben Smith / Politico)
  • Never pick a fight with a guy who has 1.3 million donors (Al Giordano / The Field)
  • A few things for the supers to consider ( kos / Daily Kos)
  • Hillary falsely claims superdelegate endorsed her over "bitter" comments (John Aravosis / AMERCAblog)
  • The Acid Test (Andrew Sullivan / The Daily Dish)
  • Arianna: "Hillary chose to confirm every right-wing demagogic characteristic about her own party" (Bill Bradley / Pajamas Media)
  • Bill Clinton: Older voters too savvy to fall for Obama (Scott Helman / Boston Globe)
