Funny stuff

I don't know why, but I just kicked back for a few minutes and watched the McCain campaign's new video attacking the media. It was HILARIOUS in a I-really-am-not-suggesting-you-watch-it kind of way.

The video was really stupid and unconvincing. Its most salient moment involved NBC's Lee Cowen, who was saying to Brian Williams something like "you're not cool if you haven't seen Barack Obama speak." Cowen was talking softly to Williams, and the camera was unsteady, so it almost looked like Cowen had been caught off-guard revealing the media's secret pro-Obama bias.

The thing is I actually remember watching that segment when it aired. It was from Iowa, and Cowen wasn't talking about himself, he was explaining why Obama was getting such big crowds in Iowa. I wonder what Cowen will think when he sees the video -- it can't make him happy to have the McCain folks taking a shot like that at him.
