When GOP Talking Points Collide
In this installment of stupid GOP tricks, conservative spinner Andrea Tantaros tries to attack Barack Obama's Hawaii vacation as unpresidential.
Peter Beinart points out that just a couple weeks ago, Republicans were attacking Barack Obama's meetings with world leaders as too presidential.
Weren't Amy Holmes' facial reactions hilarious? And it's not like Holmes is a Democrat -- she's a Republican, and even she sees how silly Tantaros was being.
By the way, on a personal note, about fifteen years ago, I went to college with Beinart. (He was a year or two ahead of me.) I haven't kept in much touch with him, but one thing I never expected that I'd be doing was uploading a video clip of him to the internet...it's just amazing how fast technology changes.
