You ever notice how John McCain's YouTube attack videos sometimes got tons of play, but very low ratings? Well, this Pew poll may explain why:
The study revealed a notable gap between liberals and conservatives when it comes to using the Internet for political information. Pew found 43 percent of liberals say they read blogs, compared with 22 percent of conservatives. In addition, about six in 10 liberal respondents said they have viewed "some form of campaign video" (such as a debate or commercial) online, compared to about a third of conservatives.
I wonder if McCain did himself more harm then good by posting his attack ads online, given that he was mostly just pissing off supporters of Barack Obama. Perhaps if he'd kept a more positive online presence, he wouldn't have built up such a snarling reputation.
Just another example of stupidity from one of the most poorly run campaigns in presidential campaign history.
