A bit over a week ago, I posted a beta version of a new feature for TJR: a new home page merging a set of headlines (like Drudge, but with my perspective on things) with the blog. Based on your feedback, I decided that wasn't a good approach, so I've decided to try out a 2-page approach.
For the blog page (you're at it right now), the blog will remain the focus, with the design essentially unchanged. The only difference will be in the right-hand sidebar of the blog, where I will have headlines taken from the headlines page.
For the headlines page (beta location here), it will primarily be focused on being a clean and simple set of headlines and links to articles. However, below the fold it will have an updated list of recent blog posts, along with the blogroll.
So if you have a moment, please check out the test page and leave a comment in this thread with your thoughts, or send me e-mail to the address at the top part of the left-hand column.
I'm looking forward to hearing what you have to say.
