Palin said of her running mate this morning in Virginia Beach: "Since he won't say it on his own behalf, I'm gonna say it for my running mate here: There is only one man in this race who has ever really fought for you."
Then McCain took the mic and said: "I''ve been fighting for this country since I was 17-years-old and I have the scars to prove it."
