Requesting Your Feedback

For some time now, I've been interested in creating an extemely simple set of links to newsworthy and intersting stories -- basically, something like Drudge Report without his conservative bias.

At the same time, I'm going to keep on blogging, so figuring out exactly how to accomplish both tasks with one web site is a bit of a challenge.

I've put together a beta of a hybrid solution -- the top of the page is simple links, and if you scroll down, the blog and vodpod are there, just like they are now.

If you have a moment to check the beta out, I'd like to know what you think of it. Specifically, I'm wondering:

  1. Do you like the layout for the quick links (it should look fairly familiar)?
  2. Are you interested in the content that I put on that page?
  3. What do you think of the way the blog is integrated into the beta page?
  4. Whether or not you like the way I accomplished the integration, do you think I should just keep the pages totally separate, or do you like the idea of one single page that has both the blog and the headlines?

And of course, I'm eager to hear any other thoughts you may have on it. Thanks!
