Election Eve Open Thread

A couple of things to note before opening the thread:

  • John McCain made no mention of Barack Obama in his final speech of the night, in Prescott, Arizona. It's hard to imagine him "going positive" if he really felt he had a chance of winning tomorrow.
  • File this one under the WTF department: Joe The Plumber got pulled over for speeding a few days ago, but the Toledo police let him go. They were afraid of bad publicity if they ticketed him.
  • Update: And now Joe says he's broke. And he's starting a charity. He wants to be a community organizer. Ha!
  • I've embedded the Daily Kos electoral scoreboard on the homepage. I'm pretty sure the embed will track election returns as they come in, but if you click on it and visit the full scoreboard, you can get some really cool maps and looks at the data, along with live election returns. Update: For now, I've set it to display my (admittedly agressive) electoral prediction map.
